What Do We Offer?

We provide unique approaches to educate refugees in Malaysia.

Educate

We give opportunities for the Rohingya refugees children to get proper education using Malaysian primary and secondary school standards.

Engage

Engagement with teachers, parents and society at large is so important to us. It could create better living condition to the refugees family.

Outreach

Apart finding places for further study, we also expose them with soft skills trainings. They enjoy health treatment and dialogues with relevant parties too.

Recruit

Recruiting dedicated teachers and selfless volunteers is often needed. We expect more involvement from the public to join our activities all year round.

Volunteering for UNHCR opened my eyes to the needs of refugees in education, health, and well-being. Joining JREC in 2017, I witnessed their unwavering dedication to enhancing Rohingya children's education. Despite limited resources, the staff's professionalism and commitment shone through as they delivered quality education. JREC's continuous innovation and perseverance in overcoming challenges inspired me. The implementation of the Malaysian curriculum is executed professionally and students show impressive progress. The teachers are addressing mixed ability classrooms and new students with increasing competency. Overall, there has been remarkable improvement in teaching and learning, thanks to the talented and passionate senior management and teachers at JREC.
